Reproduction of the statue ‘Saint George’.
The statue ‘Saint Georges’ comes from the building of Paul-Alfred Liénard (inaugurated in 1887 in tribute to Leopold of England, Duke of Albany and son of Queen Victoria. He died in Cannes).
This statue had been vandalized and at the request of the Mayor of Cannes, the statue was recreated identically. It was copied from archival research to find the main elements.
